Can you make any ring according to my Budget?
Yes! Every ring design at Forever My Gem can be custom made to a range of budgets. After choosing your ring design, our website will allow you to select your own Carat size, Clarity and Color specifications allowing you to decide what specification best suits your budget.
What is Carat Weight?
A carat is a unit of measurement used to specify the weight of a diamond. In many cases a higher Carat will indicate a larger diamond. Click Here to learn more about Carat weight Specifications.
What is Clarity?
As all diamonds are formed underground with extreme heat and pressure, it is normal that they contain some small internal marks known in the diamond industry as inclusions. While most inclusions cannot be seen by the naked eye, diamonds with the fewest and smallest inclusions are given the highest clarity grades and are considered the most expensive. Clarity grading at Forever My Gem ranges from a SI2 (Small inclusions) to FL (Flawless). To learn more about diamond clarity Click Here.
What is Color?
When it comes to diamonds, the color of a diamond is measured on a scale of D-Z. The better the Color Grade of a diamond, the whiter it is. Diamonds in the range of D-F are considered to be the whitest diamonds and therefore are more expensive. As the grading of a diamond gets lower (towards Z), it will become more yellow in color. Here at Forever My Gem we aim to provide diamonds of the best value for money, therefore all of the diamonds we sell are within the range of colorless to near colorless (Meaning D-J). How do I choose the right Carat, Color and Clarity for me?
Balancing the Carat, Color and Clarity of your new purchase in order to fit within your budget can be overwhelming. Why do you have one option for “Cut” of diamond?
The cut of a diamond is considered by gemologists, diamond experts and jewelers to be the most significant characteristic of the 4 C’s. Despite a diamond having the highest grade color and clarity, it will look dull, lifeless and lacking in shine or brilliance if the stone is poorly cut. Diamonds range from ‘Ideal’ to ‘Poor’ cuts. Here at Forever My Gem we only sell Ideal cut diamonds (which is the best there is), guaranteeing a diamond that is full of brilliance and shine.
What precious metals are available and what is the difference between them?
Here at Forever my Gem you will find a wide selection of precious metals. Both 14K and 18K options are available in white gold, rose gold and yellow gold. So what is the difference? 14K gold contains a lower percentage of pure gold and is considered to be more durable and affordable. 18K gold has a higher percentage of fine gold and tends to be softer. A platinum setting is heavier and more expensive than gold. Platinum has a natural shine and will not need to be rhodium plated , meaning that less maintenance is required over time than gold.
Will the metal purity be inscribed on the ring
Yes. We will always put the 14K, 18K, or PLAT specification on the inside of the ring.
Can I have gems instead of diamonds?
Yes. You can replace the side diamonds on your ring with blue sapphires, red rubies, or emeralds!
Can I personalize my ring with an engraving?
Yes! With every order you have an option to engrave the inside of your ring and add a special and unique element to make your order personal to you and your loved one. Once you have chosen your ring please contact our customer service team for a price quote and in order to request an engraving. Please keep in mind we are only able to engrave a maximum of 20 characters per ring.
Are your diamonds real or has their clarity been enhanced?
Here at Forever My Gem we only sell untreated diamonds. All of our diamonds are completely natural and earth mined.
Are your Diamonds Certified?
Yes! Every diamond sold by Forever My Gem has been analyzed and graded by the Universal Gemological Institute (UGI). UGI Laboratories is a highly respected diamond grading institute. Each Forever My Gem diamond is tested and graded by several highly trained gemologists who use a combination of expertise and the best gemological equipment available in the diamond industry.
Are your Diamonds Conflict free?
Yes! Conflict-free diamonds are diamonds that were not obtained due to human rights violations, child labor, violence, or environmental degradation. At Forever My Gem, we make sure that each diamond exceeds standard government requirements. Read more about our conflict-free diamonds.
Placing an Order
How do I choose the right Carat, Color, Clarity and precious Metal for me?
Finding the right specifications to meet your needs can be tricky. Our education centre discusses the details of the various specifications in order for you to understand what is best for your budget and your lifestyle. Of course, you are always welcome to contact our Customer Service team for more guidance or to answer any questions you may have.
How do I find my ring size?
The best way to figure out your ring size is to get your finger sized by a local jeweler. You can also use our online ‘Find My Ring Size’ tool. This method works best if you already have a ring that fits but you can use it even if you don’t!
Is it possible to find a matching wedding band for my ring?
For those engagement rings that have a perfectly matching wedding band, a link to that band will be displayed at the bottom of our product page. For Engagement rings that do not have a matching band, a complimentary band can be found on our ‘Wedding Band’ page. How do I apply discount codes to my order?
During a time where Forever My Gem is offering a special promotion, you will be able to add a coupon code to your purchase. When you are checking out through our secure payment page you will notice a box on the right hand side of the page that says “Coupon/Promotional Code” please enter your unique code and click “Apply” to obtain your discount.
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes! Here at Forever My Gem we value the service of our military personnel. Please contact us via phone, chat, or email to hear how you can claim this discount.
Is shopping on your website secure?
Yes. Forever My Gem ensures that our customers’ purchases are secure. We use secure encryption and fraud protection for all credit card transactions. All sensitive data is encrypted using 256-bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL). You can view our McAfee Secure certificate for an independent verification of our site’s security.
What Payment options do you provide?
Here at Forever My Gem we will happily accept payment by Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and Discover), PayPal or wire transfer. For those customers who prefer to pay off their purchase over time, we also have an option for a layaway payment plan.
Do you provide financing or a layaway plan?
Yes! Forever My Gem offers a no interest Layaway option. With a 10% down payment, you reserve the price and the product you have selected. Please note, your order will not go into production until the full amount of your purchase has been paid off.
How do I make layaway Payments?
Your balance can be paid off during the next 12 months by contacting us telephonically or via Email or chat to process any further payments. Payments can be made in the form of a secure credit card link or via PayPal. Note that there are no extra fees or charges for using our Layaway payment plan.
Will I receive a discount for paying via wire transfer?
Yes! Purchases completed using wire transfer are eligible for a 1.5% discount of the total cost of the purchase.
What if I have questions or need assistance?

I can only afford a smaller diamond right now, am I able to Upgrade to a bigger diamond later?
Yes! If at any time you would like to upgrade the diamond in your ring, we will give you a credit worth 100% of your purchase price towards the purchase of a diamond that is at least $300 greater in price than the original purchase price. This way, you will pay only the difference between the amount paid and the price of the upgraded diamond. The credit is perpetually valid, with no expiration. The diamond that is being upgraded must be in original condition and accompanied by the original diamond certificate. Please contact our customer service department for more information. Please note Shipping and handling is the responsibility of the customer.
Can I personalize my ring with an engraving?
Absolutely. Once you have chosen your ring please contact our customer service team for the cost of your requested engraving specification. Please keep in mind we are only able to engrave a maximum of 20 characters per ring.
How long does production take?
All of our rings at Forever My Gem are handcrafted to your specifications. Once you place your order, we will begin production on your ring. Production time generally takes 4-7 days to be completed with an additional 2-3 days for shipping.
Does platinum take longer to craft than gold?
Yes. Platinum has a higher melting point than gold which can make the production process more complex. As such, production for a Platinum selection can take up to a week longer than our regular 10-15 day production time for 14K or 18K gold.
Can I choose specifications for the side diamonds?
When purchasing a ring from Forever My Gem, you are required to select ‘Cut’, ‘Color’ and ‘Clarity’ specifications for the centre stone. In order to assure your satisfaction, we will match your selected specifications for the side diamonds too!
What is the cost of shipping?
Absolutely free! Here at Forever My Gem we value our customers greatly and therefore provide FREE FedEx priority shipping.
How long will it take to get my ring?
Once your ring has been crafted, Forever My Gem will provide free FedEx priority shipping to your selected address. Expected shipping time to the US, Canada and the UK is between 1-3 days. Please note, shipping to Australia may take up to 5 days.
Will there be any additional fees?
Countries outside of the US will be subject to a local import duty tax ranging from 15-20% of your order. To find out more information on the exact cost of tax in your location, please contact your local FedEx. You will not receive any additional fees from Forever My Gem specifically.
Is there a sales Tax to US customers?
No! Here at Forever My Gem we do not charge Sales Tax to any of our customers.
Is your packaging discreet?
Yes, all of our rings are shipped in discreet white packaging with no mention of rings, diamonds, weddings, etc!
Will I need to sign for my package?
Yes. We understand how precious your new ring is to you! If nobody is home to sign for your ring, it will be sent to the nearest FedEx address local to the provided shipping address. There it will be kept safe until it can be collected at a time that is convenient for you.
Is my Order insured when it is shipped?
Yes! All of our packages are fully insured.
Can I ship to an address that is different than my billing address?
Absolutely! When finalizing your order at the checkout, there will be an option to use your billing address for shipping or to add a different shipping address. We will send your ring to your requested location.
Can I ship my order to a PO Box?
No. Here at Forever my Gem we know how important your new purchase is to you, in order to ensure the highest security of your product we require that all packages are dropped to a physical address where someone is able to sign for your package and make sure it’s received safely.
Can I Track my order?
Yes! As soon as your purchase has been shipped we will send you an email with your FedEx tracking number. You will be able to virtually watch your parcel as it makes its way to you.
I have been asked to complete a 5106 form, what is it and is it secure to provide my personal information for this?
US customs require consumers to fill out a 5106 form whenever they make a purchase for $2,500USD or more. The reason for the form is to declare that you are an individual purchasing this product from Forever My Gem for personal (Non-commercial) use. As this is a Government requirement and all information is only obtained by Homeland Security. It is completely safe for you to provide the information they require.
Do I pay for shipping when I send my ring for cleaning or repair?
If you choose to return your ring to us for repair or maintenance as part of your lifetime warranty, shipping and handling will cost $125 for US Customers and $175 for Australian customers.
What is your return policy?
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 45 days for a full refund, no questions asked! In the unlikely event that you decide to return your ring, just let us know and we will send you pre-paid return labels.
Do I pay for shipping to return a ring?
Here at Forever My Gem we aim to provide an exceptional level of customer service. If for any reason you require a refund or in the unlikely case of damage to a ring we provide free shipping labels in order that you do not endure the cost of the return. If you would like to participate in our Diamond Upgrade Program we will provide shipping return labels for no additional cost. Please note that our free resizing offer only applies to the resizing itself. As such, shipping and handling are to be covered by the customer.
How do I package my item when I send it back to you?
If it is necessary to return your ring for any reason, your purchase can be sent back to us in the same box as you received it in. Alternatively, if you no longer have the box, you should be able to obtain a new FedEx box free of charge by presenting the FedEx return labels we have provided you with at your local FedEx branch. Please make sure to include the jewelry box, the UGI Certificate and the insurance appraisal in the box.
How long will the return process take and when can I expect a refund?
In most cases, it will take Forever My Gem about a week to receive your ring after you have shipped it back to us. Once receiving your ring, Forever My Gem will issue your refund immediately. Please note that depending on your bank and your initial payment method, funds can take up to a week to reflect in your account.
Is my order insured during shipping returns?
Absolutely! All of our packages are fully insured.
Policies and Care
What if I receive my ring and it doesn’t fit?
With every Forever My Gem Purchase you are entitled to 1 free ring resizing within the first 45 days of purchase! Just send us back your ring and we will resize it using state of the art laser technology! After that, a resizing will cost $25 for gold and $50 for platinum. All shipping and handling fees to be paid by the customer.
What is covered by the lifetime Warranty?
We cover all routine services including polishing, rhodium plating, cleaning, prong tightening and more! We also cover the loss or damage of side diamonds. If you encounter an issue with your center stone, contact our customer service department to discuss your options. Please note, getting any of these services done elsewhere will void your warranty.
Do You Provide Insurance Appraisals?
Yes. Every Forever My Gem ring will come with a full insurance evaluation.
What if I would like to upgrade my diamond? Do you have a Diamond upgrade plan?
Yes! If you decide you want to upgrade your diamond, please contact our customer service department for more information. You will be eligible for our diamond upgrade program as long as your desired upgrade is greater than $300.00. Shipping and handling to be paid by the customer.
How best should I take care of my ring?
The best way to clean your ring is with a good quality dish soap and a toothbrush! Exposure during ordinary wear to household chemicals, like hand soap, chlorine and hairspray, can cause buildup that dulls the surface of any gemstone.
Is it normal that my white gold ring will turn yellow over time? How do I fix this?
Yes, because white gold contains some Yellow gold in its make up, it is completely normal that it may develop a champagne tinge over time. If this occurs you are entitled to rhodium plating as part of your lifetime warranty. Rhodium plating can be required annually and will leave your ring looking brand new!
